• Raising a Reader, “Cuddle Up and Read” Literacy Campaign, and the Healthy Reader Project to put books in the hands of children and families.  Reading provides families the opportunity to support children in their learning process of forming attachments, as well as instilling the love of learning through books. 
   
• Community Forums to address domestic violence, child abuse, steps in healthy child development, and developmental milestones of speech and language skills.
   
• Dental screenings for children to age 6, in partnership with local dentists, health departments and childcare centers.  A dental poster campaign for children ages 3-6 to encourage dental health.  Monthly child friendly bookmarks with activities and tips for healthy gums and teeth for childcare facilities, health departments, and dental offices.
   
• Hope for Tomorrow Workshops on mental health education to provide information and life skills training to equip parents, teachers, and the community with skills to better deal with life today and tomorrow through mental well-being.
   
• Character Critters© one of the Character Education Programs offered by the Cooperative Extension Service teaching six concepts of character: responsibility, trustworthiness, respect, caring, fairness, and citizenship. This program has been implemented in childcare homes, childcare centers, and public schools.  
   
• “I Can Problem Solve” an interpersonal, cognitive, problem-solving program also offered by the Cooperative Extension Service beginning in the public schools, then moving to childcare centers and homes.  The goal of Character Critters©   and I Can Problem Solve is to help build the thinking child and have children embody traits that build the work ethic of future students, employees, and parents.
